Isla Roots: Intro to Caribbean Healing Plants

In this all-levels workshop, we will gather to share, learn and heal through medicine-making using Caribbean plant life. Circled-up and connected, our journey will be a space to:

honor the hxstories and healing legacies of Caribbean peoples & plants through storytelling and wisdom-reclaiming.

learn about the various names, properties and uses of at least 5 plants.

make two types of medicine: an alcoholado to release negativity and anxiety and a nourishing bush tea blend.
